Plain terms for a $6.99 app. If something here is unclear, ask — we would rather explain it than argue about it later.

These terms are between you and Barsan T (“we”, “us”), and they cover the SpaceNamer app and this website. Buying or using SpaceNamer means you accept them.
Buying SpaceNamer gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on up to three Macs that you own or control, for as long as you like. You are buying a license to use the software, not the software itself.
Moving to a new Mac is fine: remove the license from the old machine in the app’s License window, or free the seat from the customer portal, then activate on the new one.
Need more than three seats, or a site license for a team? Write to us — that is an easy yes.
SpaceNamer costs $6.99, paid once. The sale is made by our payment provider as merchant of record, who take the payment and handle refunds and order enquiries; their buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these. Your license key is issued on purchase. Local taxes — such as VAT or GST — are added at checkout, and the amount you pay is shown in your own currency before you confirm. Prices may change for future buyers; what you already bought is not affected.
If SpaceNamer is not for you, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason. Your license is deactivated when the refund is issued.
Updates are included for the life of the app, at no extra cost — bug fixes, improvements and support for new macOS releases alike. We do not promise a particular feature by a particular date, and we may change or remove features as macOS changes.
SpaceNamer requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS Ventura or later. See the compatibility page for the current list. We cannot guarantee the app will keep working on versions of macOS that Apple has not released yet, though keeping up with them is exactly what the updates are for.
SpaceNamer is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of SpaceNamer is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
You may stop using SpaceNamer at any time by deleting it. We may terminate a license that breaches these terms — for example a key shared publicly — and will refund you if the breach was honest and recent.
Your purchase is made through our payment provider acting as merchant of record, and their buyer terms govern the transaction itself — payment, tax, refunds and chargebacks. These terms cover your use of the app alongside them.
Wherever you live, your local consumer protection rights apply in full and nothing here reduces them. If a dispute cannot be settled by writing to us, it is handled under the law of the place where you are resident.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the version you agreed to at purchase continues to cover that purchase.
